A versatile, suitable-setting time white powder used for casting, molding, and decorative applications, known for its smooth finish and easy workability. Suitable-setting plaster made from fine white powder (calcium sulfate hemihydrate). Hardens upon moistening and drying.


Usage

  • Making casts and patterns for molds and statues.
  • Cement for ornamental casting and decorative materials.
  • Fireproofing material and chalk production.

    • Color: White to off-white
    • Setting Time: Initial Setting Time: 8-14 minutes, Final Setting Time: 25-30 minutes
    • Fineness: The material should pass through a 150-micron sieve
    • Density: Approximately 700-800 kg/m³
    • Compressive Strength: 2-4 MPa after 28 days
    • Bond Strength: High bond strength to most substrates
  • Chemical Properties:
    • Calcium Sulfate Hemihydrate: Typically 85-90%
    • Calcium Sulfate Dihydrate: Should be less than 5%
    • pH: Neutral to slightly alkaline (6-8)
  • Other Considerations:
    • Workability: Easy to work with, can be smoothly applied with a trowel
    • Storage: Store in a dry place to prevent premature setting
    • Shelf Life: Typically 3-4 months from the date of manufacture if stored properly
